href=\"http:\/\/thedillspiel.blogspot.com\/2010\/09\/stitches-in-time.html\"> No Bill Dill<\/a>, had a blog post yesterday about her first memories of sewing.\u00a0 It got me thinking about my first memories of sewing.\u00a0 I was impressed that she actually had the item that she had stitched as a young child.\u00a0\u00a0 Then, last night, I suddenly remembered the little paper dolls that I had&#8230;actually my youngest daughter now has them.\u00a0 And they aren&#8217;t made from paper, they are made from some type of plastic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/2010-09-8b.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1415\" title=\"2010-09-8b\" src=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/2010-09-8b.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/catchick6creations.interiority.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/2010-09-8b.jpg 550w, https:\/\/catchick6creations.interiority.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/2010-09-8b-264x300.jpg 264w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 440px) 85vw, 440px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I got them when I was about five years old.\u00a0 My grandmother&#8217;s church always had a bizarre at Christmas and spring time.\u00a0 All the church women would make crafts to sell at the bizarre.\u00a0 I purchased these wonderful dolls and played with them constantly\u00a0 I immediately realized that they didn&#8217;t come with enough clothes and I had to make more!<\/p>\n<p>(I don&#8217;t think I named the dolls until several years later&#8230;as I can see by the cover of the folder!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/2010-09-08c.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1416\" title=\"2010-09-08c\" src=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/2010-09-08c.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" for some material.\u00a0 She had just finishing sewing an Easter dress for me and had some left over material.\u00a0 So, I cut out some outfits for my dolls.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know if you would exactly call this &#8220;stitching&#8221;&#8230;.it was more like cutting and gluing.\u00a0 But I did have to stitch on the snaps&#8230;.and it took a long time to sew on all those snaps!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/2010-09-08d.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1418\"
