day of toilet training..whatever that means!\u00a0 It has been about 7 years since I&#8217;ve toilet trained.\u00a0 Needless to say, I forget everything!\u00a0 About a month ago we went out and bought potty seats and training pants and River was very excited!\u00a0 She even peed on the potty once!\u00a0 But then, she decided she didn&#8217;t want to be a big kid and refused to even go near them.\u00a0 So, I put them away and decided to give it a break.<\/p>\n<p>Then we decided it was time again.\u00a0 She is almost three!\u00a0 So, I had her help me &#8220;select&#8221; prizes from Oriental Trading and waited anxiously each day for them to arrive.\u00a0 When they finally arrived, we made a treasure chest and filled it with the prizes.<\/p>\n<p>And today was the first day&#8230;.well, she decided she was scared of the potty seat and didn&#8217;t want to go near it.\u00a0 After a bit of coaxing and bribery, she finally made it on the potty.\u00a0 (I had to promise to read her 10 books while she sat on the potty!)\u00a0 She got a sticker and prize just for sitting on the seat.\u00a0 She was so excited!\u00a0 But now she has to actually pee in the potty to get her next sticker.\u00a0 There has been no pee in the potty, but we are making progress.\u00a0 I set the timer and each hour we give it a try&#8230;.(always with me reading her about 5-10 books..but hey, it&#8217;s worth it..who wouldn&#8217;t want to sit on the potty if someone promised to read you books?!)<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"2009-11-16a1.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/2009-11-16a1.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"2009-11-16a2.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/2009-11-16a2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/2009-11-16a2.jpg\" alt=\"2009-11-16a2.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"2009-11-16b.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/2009-11-16b.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/gargoyle:8011\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/2009-11-16b.jpg\" alt=\"2009-11-16b.jpg\" width=\"420\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay..so today is the first &#8220;Official&#8221;
